Keep Nebraska Beautiful (KNB) (knb.org) is excited to share that their 30th annual Golf For The Environment Tournament, hosted on Sept. 10 at Woodland Hills Golf Course in Eagle, Nebraska was a resounding success! Keep Nebraska Beautiful thanks all players, sponsors, volunteers and supporters who made this event possible!

One hundred fourteen golfers enjoyed a breakfast and Bloody Mary Bar before the 9 a.m. shotgun start. They experienced the beauty of Woodland Hills Golf Course, were serenaded with bagpipe playing, received treat bags with complimentary gifts, participated in the raffle and even captured the moment with complimentary team photos.

This foursome scramble tournament featured exciting hole contest classics and this year’s newest collab with Back Swing’s “Can you beat the lady pro” contest! After the round, players heard from KNB’s CEO and Board President while enjoying a catered lunch. After participating in a small live auction, the announcement of raffle winners, hole prizes and tournament winners was held!

This is Keep Nebraska Beautiful’s largest fundraiser of the year, and all its proceeds go toward upholding their mission to enhance, preserve and beautify Nebraska by developing and managing programs and partnerships with statewide affiliates, private industry leaders and citizens who share a passion for the environment. The Golf For The Environment Tournament will fund KNB’s programs to further their vision of a clean, green and beautiful Nebraska.
