American Cancer Society Hosts Virtual Holiday for Hope Event November 20

The American Cancer Society (acsengage.org/Lincolnholidayforhope) invites the Lincoln community to join them for their online Holiday for Hope event on November 20. The virtual event will include a festive night of special appearances by local celebrity chefs, plus entertainment, an exciting Silent & Super Silent Auction, and details about how you can help keep cancer research alive in Nebraska.

The American Cancer Society is working to finish the fight against every cancer in every community. They are the largest private, not-for-profit funder of cancer research in the United States, investing more than $4 billion since 1946. Thanks to the contributions to the American Cancer Society, more than 1.5 million lives have been saved in the U.S. in the past two decades. Because of a budget shortfall this year, the American Cancer Society is at risk of cutting cancer research funding by 50% representing the lowest investment in history. With your support, the American Cancer Society will ensure the positive momentum of lifesaving cancer research is not lost.
