The Community Health Endowment of Lincoln (CHE) will make approximately $2 million available in FY2011-12 to improve community health through grants to eligible organizations. This funding will support the continuation of current projects, as well as new projects.

CHE is currently sponsoring a comprehensive study of Lincoln’s safety net. This study is expected to be completed by February, 2012. Although CHE funding priorities would traditionally be announced in December 2011, the CHE Board of Trustees has revised the grant schedule so that the recommendations of the safety net study can be taken into consideration when setting the priorities.

Organizations interested in applying for CHE funding should expect funding priorities to be released in February 2012.

Information regarding the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln (CHE) funding priorities, application process, deadlines, and Applicant Workshops will be made available at www.chelincoln.org
