Health at Home Consultants is pleased to welcome Valerie Jass, MSN, APRN who joined their team in late 2013. She is a board-certified Adult Nurse Practitioner by the ANCC. Valerie graduated from Nebraska Methodist College of Nursing in Omaha and went on to earn her BSN, MSN and post-master’s nurse practitioner from the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, South Carolina. Valerie spent 11 years in the United States Navy, Nurse Corps, worked with a neurosurgeon whose specialty was in the area of deep brain stimulation for patients with Parkinson’s disease, as well as followed patients with brain tumors, ALS, MS, any neurodegenerative disease process, pain, and cerebral palsy. She has also worked in the area of Palliative Medicine. Valerie has a passion for treating patients with Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive decline or any medical diagnoses, within the setting of their residence. She currently lives in Omaha, NE and loves serving clients in the greater Omaha area.
