After over forty years of being known as Milder Manor and over $3 million dollars of renovations, this well-known landmark in the Near South Neighborhood will now be known as Sumner Place Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation. During the renovation process the residents, their family members and visitors have marveled at how the beauty and quality care at this Vetter Health Service facility was being reflected in the remodeled building’s exterior and interior improvements. The extensive transformation of buildings, grounds, porte-cochere, and remodeled resident rooms are designed to enhance quality of life and insure that Sumner Place remains an attractive landmark in the community.
Sumner Place is one of 31 facilities owned and/or managed by Vetter Health Services (VHS) in Elkhorn, Nebraska. At Sumner Place the administrators and staff develop plans to continuously improve their services and facility with support from the VHS network. Operating decisions are made locally to assure that Sumner Place remains responsive to the needs of its residents and community.
