On August 31st, the National Research Corporation notified Sumner Place Skilled Nursing & Rehabilitation (www.sumnerplacecare.com) that it received an Excellence in Action Award for 2014 – 2015.  A survey was conducted by MyInnerView, an applied research company providing leaders in skilled nursing, assisted living and senior housing with tools to ensure, benchmark and improve performance. MyInnerView maintains the largest group of data ever assembled covering resident and family satisfaction in thousands of nursing homes across the country.

Sumner Place received overall resident satisfaction scores that fall within the top 10 percent of the MyInnerView database. National Research Corporation reports show that 100% of residents and families stated their overall satisfaction and recommendation to others as “excellent” or “good.”

“Sumner Place is highly focused on relationships and creating a living environment that radiates love, peace, spiritual contentment, and dignity. It is really an honor to be recognized nationally as one of the best in the nation,” said Larry VanHunnik, Administrator of the community.
