Tabitha Hospice congratulates its medical director, Lisa Mansur, M.D., who received the Shining Star award from the Nebraska Hospice & Palliative Care Association (NHPCA). Mansur was recognized for her accomplishments at the annual NHPCA awards banquet on April 10.
The Shining Star award honors individuals, groups or organizations that have illustrated outstanding leadership in the promotion of end-of-life services, raised awareness of and educated others on end-of-life issues, developed a new program, or completed outstanding work in an end-of-life coalition.
Mansur has served as Tabitha Hospice medical director since the fall of 2010. She is also on staff at Nebraska Pulmonary Specialties and is a 20-year veteran of internal, critical care and pulmonary medicine. Mansur is certified in sleep medicine as well as in hospice and palliative care medicine.
