Turning Pointe Chiropractic Celebrates 20th Anniversary of Serving Lincoln

Turning Pointe Chiropractic (TurningPointeChiro.com) marked their 20th anniversary of providing wellness services to the Lincoln community with a party on February 15 and a month-long celebration. Dr. Linn Erickson, owner of the practice, grew up in Lincoln. He developed an interest in chiropractic as a result of his own personal interest in natural health care. Growing up, he had the privilege of learning about the role that lifestyle played in helping people get and stay healthy in his own family, especially from his mother. As a high school athlete, he eventually suffered from a recurring injury in basketball that kept him from playing until he went to a chiropractor (Dr. Rick Rohrs, DC) for the first time. As a result of this care, he was able to return to sports within a month, playing pain-free and a higher level than before.

Dr. Erickson has seen a shift in health care, “During my 31 years in the chiropractic profession, there has been a transition in what people want from their healthcare providers and cites families in particular as looking for alternative methods for containing health care costs while increasing their wellness lifestyles.”
Chiropractic is the fastest growing form of alternative health care in the world and is no longer known as just a method of relieving back pain, but a comprehensive wellness and preventive care program, which many families are making a regular part of their wellness plans.

On a weekly basis, Turning Pointe Chiropractic offers educational workshops that are open to the public in-person and online. These workshops are offered to local businesses, houses of worship, schools, and civic groups as a way to educate, inspire, and support their wellness initiatives. These community organizations can then provide community-focused awareness and programs around healthy lifestyle choices. For more information, please visit TurningPointeChiro.com.
