Watts Insurance Group is excited to announce their partnership with Allison Aldrich, a three-time Paralympic medalist. Allison is also a Health and P.E. teacher at Wilbur-Clatonia Public Schools, high school head volleyball coach, middle school assistant basketball coach, volunteer at camp Coholo, VCNebraska volleyball club coach, and speaks at events/clubs several times a year.  At age seven her leg was amputated just below the knee due to clear cell sarcoma, a rare cancer of the connective tissues. Since then she has gone through several prosthetic legs. Health insurance and Shriners have helped Allison and her family pay for new legs in the past; however, now that she is older this has become her expense. A new prosthetic can cost anywhere from $5,000 and up, and the price depends on the appearance and level of functionality.  Being a female, athlete, and teacher, she needs high functionality and would like it to look as natural as possible. Having a more natural looking leg is not only a personal preference but it also allows her to wear high heels, flips flops, and get less stares from strangers and her students.

Watts Insurance Group is helping Allison with the expense of a new prosthetic, and will continue to support her all the way to Rio! Go Team USA! For more information about Watts Insurance Group, call (402) 261-3999 or visit www.wattsinsurancegroup.com.
