Thanks to the foresight and generosity of donors who have established designated funds with the Lincoln Community Foundation (LCF.org), more than $2.7 million was distributed to 228 nonprofit organizations, 133 of which are located in Lancaster County. These endowed funds are established to support the charities and houses of worship that are meaningful to donors – providing reliable, annual funding to the organizations they care about most.

“It is a great honor to serve as a connector between donors and the charities they wish to support forever,” said President Tracy Edgerton. “These gifts will continue to grow through the power of endowment and sage financial management and investment by our team.”

As a simple and effective philanthropic tool, designated funds ensure lasting support, helping local nonprofits grow, adapt and thrive for generations to come.

As one nonprofit leader shared, “This generosity provides more than financial support – it brings stability, encouragement and the ability to plan for the future with confidence. Knowing that we can rely on this support year after year allows us to focus on what matters most: making a meaningful and lasting difference in people’s lives.”
