Lincoln Industries and IMSCORP have announced that the two companies will open an onsite workplace health center, providing medical services at no cost to the people of the two companies. The health center will be Lincoln’s first workplace health center and Nebraska’s first workplace health center to offer services to the company’s workforce at no cost.

Named “Healthy U”, the health center will provide primary care and health coaching to individuals and family members employed by the two companies with an approach designed to reinforce the healthy choices of healthy people and target medium and high-risk individuals for early intervention.

The health center located on the Lincoln Industries campus opened August 3rd.  A ribbon cutting and open house were held Wednesday, July 27th.  Those attending included Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman, Chief Medical Officer for the state of Nebraska JoAnn Dr. Joann Schaefer, Mayor Chris Beutler, Lincoln city council members and representatives of Senator Mike Johanns and Senator Ben Nelson.  The center will be operated by Marathon Health.
