Malone Community Center (www.malonecenter.org) is excited to partner with local organization Visionary Youth to host their third annual Community Outreach Holiday Food Giveaway. The giveaway will take place on Sunday, November 20 from 1-4 p.m. at Saint Paul United Methodist Church located on 1144 M. St.
For the past two years they have had the honor of supplying around 900 holiday meals to families in our community. The meals include a turkey, macaroni and cheese, cake mix, pies, green beans, and more. In addition to the meals, they have been able to provide winter coats, hats, gloves, and more.
Those interested in supporting the Malone Center this holiday season can make a donation of $50 to provide turkey and fixings to a family of five, or bring food and donations to one of these locations:
- Tuesday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Oasis Barber Shops, 4230 S. 33rd St., STE 105.
- Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Malone Community Center, 2032 U St.
