On June 9, Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko.org) hosted the 16th annual Feeding the Soul of the City fundraiser at the Country Club of Lincoln. Thanks to the generosity of 43 sponsors, donors, and the 225 guests in attendance, over $160,000 was raised to support the day-to-day hunger relief and homeless prevention services. Guests enjoyed community, an inspiring video, and live and silent auctions. The video about Matt Talbot’s origins and the current impact of outreach and homeless prevention efforts, including substance use services, can be viewed at mtko.org/events.
