Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach Announces New Board Personnel
Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (MTKO, mtko.org) is pleased to introduce a new Executive Committee of the Board of Directors. Alynn Sampson, vice president of operations and impact at the Food Bank of Lincoln, is board president. She succeeds Natasha Plooster, chief operating officer at Bridgepoint Investment Banking, who will continue on the committee as immediate past president. Greg Frayser, attorney with Cline Williams Wright Johnson & Oldfather, is president elect. Kiley Wiechman, accountant with HBE Becker Meyer Love, continues her service on the committee as treasurer.
Three new members also join MTKO’s board: Juan Carlos Huertas, minister of proclamation and practice of justice at First Plymouth Congregational Church; Teresa Lewis-Hunt, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, family nurse practitioner at CenterPointe; and Andrew Wolf, financial advisor with Edward Jones. Brad Meyer, chief executive officer at Bluestem Health, and Eric Dinger, president of Arbor Day Carbon, recently retired from the Board of Directors after serving six and nine consecutive years, respectively.
“We are grateful for the compassion demonstrated by all of these individuals,” said Susanne Blue, executive director. “Their leadership and commitment to serving the working poor and homeless is critical to achieving our vision of defeating hunger and homeless and restoring hope.”
