The Gold Class recognition is awarded by I-CAR, an international not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing the information, knowledge, and skills required to perform complete, safe, and quality repairs. This designation is the highest role-relevant training achievement recognized by the collision repair industry.
The I-CAR Professional Development Program provides collision repair and insurance businesses with a reliable training framework for acquiring Gold Class and maintaining the up-to-date knowledge and skills that contribute to proper repairs, improved business performance, and risk reduction. When a collision repair shop has Gold Class recognition, it lets you know that they have trained technicians who know how to repair your vehicle properly. Approximately 20% of collision repair shops currently complete the rigorous training requirements needed to meet the Gold Class standard.
