Two Lincoln organizations are joining Nebraska Diaper Bank’s (nebraskadiaperbank.org) partner network to help more families access diapers: Center for Immigrant and Refugee Advancement (CIRA) and Good Neighbor Community Center.
The expansion helps make diapers more accessible for Lincoln families experiencing diaper need, a basic need not covered by most public assistance programs. Through these partnerships, NDB will provide diapers to the organizations, allowing them to distribute this essential resource directly to families they already serve.
“We are grateful to welcome CIRA and Good Neighbor Community Center as partners in Lincoln,” said Tegan Reed, Executive Director of Nebraska Diaper Bank. “Partnerships like these help us reach families through trusted community organizations and ensure more babies have the diapers they need to stay clean, dry, and healthy.”
In Lincoln, an estimated 4,018 babies under age 3 are at risk of diaper need. These new partnerships support NDB’s goal to distribute 1,000,000 diapers annually by the end of 2027.
