The Nebraska Safety Council is offering Teen Driver Education Classes in Lincoln at the Nebraska Safety Council, 3243 Cornhusker Highway, Lincoln Southeast High School, 2930 S. 37th Street and Lincoln Southwest High School, 7001 W. 14th Street.

The courses are offered June through October.  Please access the Nebraska Safety Council Web site at www.nesafetycouncil.org for full details about class dates and locations.

The course consists of 20 hours of classroom instruction plus 5 hours hands-on driving; 5 hours of observation (suggested but not required); 1/2 hour Behind-The-Wheel Drive Test for Provisional Operator’s Permit (POP).

Students must register in advance and payment must be made before the first day of class. Students must also possess a learner’s permit.
