New Mediterranean Restaurant, Dammi Dammi Opens in Downtown Lincoln

Father-son duo Pat and Andy Lane brought Mediterranean cuisine to downtown Lincoln with the opening of Dammi Dammi (dammidammi.com)on July 26. Dammi Dammi, which is Italian for “give me give me,” is located at 13th and P St., and is open 7:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday – Saturday.

Dammi Dammi’s menu includes breakfast, protein bowls, salads, a soup of the day, and vegan and gluten-free options. They also feature a gelato menu, which rotates through 109 flavors created by Pat, ranging from lime basil and dutch chocolate habanero to black licorice and chai tea. Dammi Dammi is popular for their selection of proteins, which includes steamed citrus salmon and lean cuts of chicken, beef, and lamb, which are seasoned with bold Mediterranean flavors and cooked using contemporary sous vide techniques.

“The Mediterranean diet is high in protein, but it’s not excluding flavor in order to get there,” said Andy.

Dammi Dammi is devoted to bringing modern Mediterranean cuisine to the community. Their menu features something for everyone – whether you are a carnivore, vegetarian, or vegan; gluten- or dairy-sensitive; or just a Mediterranean newbie wanting to try something new, they’ve got something perfect for you!
