10th Annual Project Funway Benefits Fresh Start Home

On Friday, November 1 from 6:30 to 10 p.m., Fresh Start (www.freshstarthome.org) will host their 10th annual Project Funway, a clothing design competition featuring local designers and UNL students at The Cornhusker Marriott. Proceeds from the event will benefit Fresh Start’s services for women experiencing homelessness. Hampton Enterprises – Properties & Construction, Union Bank & Trust, and Walmart are the major event sponsors.

A runway show with live models who will serve as the centerpiece of the event and will feature clothing designs based on this year’s theme of “transformation.” Guests will also enjoy a silent and live auction, hors d’oeuvres and desserts. A pop-up shop for The Daisy, Fresh Start’s consignment clothing store, will offer clothing for all at discounted prices.
