Apace is proud to participate in Jefferson County Gives on March 19, a 24-hour day of giving that brings the community together to support local causes. This year, donations will help address a critical need at Apace Fairbury’s Day Center, which is currently outdated and no longer meets the needs of the individuals who gather there each day.
The day center serves as a vital space where individuals come together for activities, shared meals, and meaningful connection. For more than a year, Apace has been fundraising to build or purchase a new facility that is modern, ADA-compliant, and designed with safety, accessibility, and inclusion at the forefront.
In Fairbury, Apace supports 27 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, each deserving a space that supports growth, dignity, and belonging. Your support during Jefferson County Gives can help turn the dream of a new day center into a reality and make a lasting impact in our community.
