Nebraska Cancer Research Center

The Nebraska Cancer Research Center (NCRC) (www.necancerresearch.org) is planning its 5th Annual “Colors of Hope: Cancer Research Fundraiser” brought to you by Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center. The event will be held at the Country Club of Lincoln on Thursday, August 23, 2018. It will begin with a social hour at 5:30 p.m., followed by a delicious meal, a silent auction of desserts and other donated items as well as a live auction of larger items, which includes vacation packages.

In 2017, more than 150 guests assisted in the efforts to raise money for NCRC and bring awareness to the importance of cancer research to the Lincoln community. Over $26,000 was raised to support their mission!

NCRC is currently looking for event sponsors and auction items for their 2018 event. To learn more about available sponsorship levels or to donate an item for either the silent or live auction, please contact Michaela Emmons at (402) 327-6843.

NCRC is a program of Lincoln Medical Education Partnership, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Over 2,100 volunteers have participated in treatment, prevention and control trials through NCRC over the past 34 years, helping to identify more effective cancer treatments and improve the quality of life of cancer patients. NCRC partners with local hospitals and oncology clinics to provide cutting-edge research through clinical trials.
