CBMC Lincoln (Lincoln.cbmc.com) hosted its 22nd Annual Golf Classic and luncheon July 31 at Wilderness Ridge. One hundred golfers and an additional 35 individuals attended the breakfast, and participants experienced a fun day of golf and great fellowship. The special event concluded with lunch, team awards, raffle prizes and a silent auction. Over 100 businesses participated again this year as event sponsors or donors of prizes and silent auction items.

Special guest speaker was Ken Korkow, Vietnam Veteran and CBMC Omaha Area Director. He was raised in a ranching and rodeo family and entered the Marine Corps when he was 18. He lived through the 77-day siege of Khe Sanh which was the longest and most deadly battle of the Vietnam War. After his medical discharge from the military, the governor of his home state named a day in Ken’s honor as the most highly decorated Vietnam Veteran in South Dakota.
