Child Evangelism Fellowship of Lincoln (CEF, cefnebraska.org) will host its first annual Good News Run on Saturday, September 16. The event will take place at Holmes Lake Park at 9 a.m.
They are having a run to help spread the word about Bible Clubs in public schools. Their goal is to have a Good News Club in every school in Lincoln so over 40,000 kids can have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus throughout the school year. Come help show your support for the Bible being in schools and come learn how you and your church can be a part of helping get the Bible back into schools. If you have a kid that attends a Good News Club, wear your Good News Club shirts and come run for FREE (with a parent entry). Registration is open at www.raceentry.com/races/good-news-run/2023/register.
The Good News Club is a dynamic Bible club that meets once a week right after school. Each club features snacks, prizes, songs, an exciting Bible lesson, a mission’s story, review games or other activities. They are led by trained Christian teenagers and adults.
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish them in the local church for Christian living. For more information, visit cefnebraska.org.
