Child Evangelism Fellowship of Lincoln (CEF, cefnebraska.org) hosted its first annual Good News Run on Saturday, September 16. The event took place at Holmes Lake Park at 9 a.m. The event was a huge success! CEF Lincoln offers a big thanks to their sponsors and everyone that attended.
The goal of the run was to help spread the word about Bible Clubs in public schools. Their goal was to have a Good News Club in every school in Lincoln so that over 40,000 kids can have the opportunity to hear the Good News of Jesus throughout the school year.
The Good News Club is a dynamic Bible club that meets once a week right after school. Each club features snacks, prizes, songs, an exciting Bible lesson, a mission’s story, review games or other activities. They are led by trained Christian teenagers and adults.
Child Evangelism Fellowship is a Bible-centered, worldwide organization composed of believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and establish them in the local church for Christian living. For more information, visit cefnebraska.org.
