Child Guidance Center to Host Ribbon Cutting, Press Conference

You are cordially invited to join Child Guidance Center (www.child-guidance.org) (2444 O St.) on Thursday, November 8 at 10 a.m. for a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Lincoln Chamber of Commerce. There will be a press conference in conjunction with the ceremony, during which the agency plans to share some exciting news with the public. Mayor Chris Beutler will say a few words as well.

Child Guidance Center inspires healthy futures for children and families through comprehensive behavioral and mental health services. During their last fiscal year, they served more than 1,840 children, adults, and entire families throughout many programs. This is an 18% increase from 2016-17.

“Child Guidance Center turns 70 years old in 2019 and we are so grateful for our rich history of being the experts in trauma informed care and are excited to share with you some changes to ensure that we are here for the next 70 years,” shared Katie McLeese Stephenson, executive director.

Please come and visit with the Child Guidance Center board and staff members! To ensure there will be enough refreshments to share, please RSVP to Jenny Cardwell, development director, at (402) 475-7666 / jcardwell@child-guidance.org. Learn more about the agency by visiting www.child-guidance.org.
