Child Saving Institute (CSI, childsaving.org) is proud to announce the presenting sponsor for Cabaret 2023 is Diventures in Omaha. Cabaret will take place on Friday, April 14 at the Embassy Suites Omaha La Vista Hotel & Conference Center. You are invited to join CSI for an evening of cocktails, food stations, and entertainment featuring comedian Bret Ernst. All money raised will support CSI and its life-changing services provided to more than 2,500 Omaha-area children and families each year.
Guest Comedian Bret Ernst can currently be seen playing Louie LaRusso in the hit series Cobra Kai, and is regarded as one of the best stand-ups in the business by his peers. He first gained national notoriety as one of the stars of the movie Vince Vaughn’s Wild West Comedy Show, and his Comedy Central Presents was voted #5 on the network’s StandUp Showdown the same year it aired. The 25-year standup veteran dives into the trials and tribulations of marriage. Bret is relatable to his audiences and brings humor to everyday life events.
The event will be emceed by Julie Cornell. Julie is an award-winning journalist with KETV Newswatch 7. During her 30 years at KETV, Julie has helped shine a light on issues that might go unnoticed. Her work over the years has focused on investigations, children’s issues, addiction, women’s issues, and the environment.
