Collective Impact Grant Allowed LuLu’s to Supply 150 Easter Meals, 126 Baskets
A grant from Collective Impact Lincoln funded LuLu’s on N’s (lulusonn.com) nonprofit partner, Loaves and Fishes, to provide 150 Easter meals and 63 Easter baskets through a distribution at Connection Point to residents of the Clinton Neighborhood and 63 more baskets to folks that went to Brock’s Boutique.
Everything that Loaves and Fishes accomplishes is thanks to generous donations that support their mission of feeding all those who are hungry. All proceeds to Loaves and Fishes and every paid meal at LuLu’s on N provides food for someone who is not able to pay.
Loaves and Fishes is a nonprofit that strives to walk alongside downtown Lincoln’s homeless population, offering them food, support, and basic hygiene items. LuLu’s on N is a walk-up restaurant and full-service caterer in downtown Lincoln. They provide community meals at St. Paul United Methodist Church from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. every Tuesday and Thursday and 3-4 p.m. on Wednesday, along with groceries.
