Community Action Head Start Needs Help to Provide Clean Clothes to Classrooms
Community Action Head Start (www.communityactionatwork.org) is currently looking for assistance helping kids who, due to accidents, spills, outside play, or other reasons their clothes may get dirty, need a change of clothes while at school. Head Start students attend school for seven hours each weekday, and the program likes to keep a supply of extra clothes for changes when needed. Currently, this supply is running low. Can you help Community Action Head Start restock their extra clothes closet?
Clothing can be purchased and sent directly to Community Action from an Amazon Wish List. Gently used clothing is also accepted. Most needed are pants, shorts, and underwear in sizes 12m-5T and 6-8.
Community Action Partnership of Lancaster and Saunders Counties provides high-quality early childhood education services through its Head Start programs to 421 babies, toddlers, and preschoolers and their families. Community support is vital to the program operations, and right now, you have a chance to contribute to those efforts.
