Disrupting Traffick (disruptingtraffick.org/events) invites the community to its signature fundraising event, the Defying Darkness Gala, on Sunday, September 7, at Seven Willows Weddings and Events in Hickman. From 4:30 to 8 p.m., guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, dessert and a powerful keynote highlighting the fight against human trafficking in Nebraska.
The gala supports Disrupting Traffick’s mission to bring informed, local and experienced solutions to survivors and communities. Sponsorship levels range from $1,500 to $25,000, offering recognition, VIP seating and meet-and-greet opportunities with featured guest John DeMay. Individual tickets are $100 and include two drink tickets, dinner and dessert. Table sponsorships start at $1,500 for 10 guests.
All proceeds help fund critical programs that support survivors and raise awareness of trafficking happening right here in Nebraska.
