The Fallbrook YMCA (YMCALincoln.org) will be hosting its eighth annual Youth Triathlon on Monday, September 2, in support of the YMCA Annual Fundraising Campaign. The Youth Triathlon has become a Labor Day tradition for families and consists of a swim, bike and run with designated distances based on age.

The triathlon is open to kids ages five and up, and all skill levels are encouraged to participate in this fun, untimed event. Registration is $25 per participant and includes a t-shirt for those who register prior to August 14.

“This event is a great way to give kids a taste of the triathlon setting in a fun and safe environment,” commented Kelly Fink, Associate Executive Director for the Fallbrook YMCA. “By participating, kids are not only embracing wellness, but they are learning about the Y’s core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility.”

Event proceeds benefit the YMCA’s Annual Fundraising Campaign, ensuring that every child, family and senior has access to life-changing programs at the Lincoln Y. For registration information and additional details on the Fallbrook YMCA Youth Triathlon, visit YMCALincoln.org/YouthTriathlon.
