St. Monica’s (www.stmonicas.com) has announced that a First Friday Art Show on Friday, December 4th from 5 – 9 p.m. will also serve as a fundraiser to help continue the services offered to women and families in our community. The event, honoring women and families in recovery, will be held at the Nonprofit Hub, located at 211 N. 14th Street, 3rd Floor and will feature Omaha artist Rob Donlan. All are welcome to attend this event in support of St. Monica’s and those the organization serves. For 50 years and counting St. Monica’s has been committed to the recovery of women of all ages through empowerment, stability and self-fulfillment. The local non-profit organization offers substance abuse and mental health treatment for women in a variety of residential and outpatient programs. Services extend to the entire family, including a home for moms and their children. Fees are on a sliding scale; no woman is turned away based on inability to pay. St. Monica’s supporters help women develop healthier lives for themselves and their families.
