Float 4 Life Hosts Let’s Do Brunch – A Women’s Networking Event at New Facility
In an effort to promote self-care, Float 4 Life (www.float4life.org) hosted Let’s Do Brunch – A Women’s Networking Event at their brand new facility on February 2. Guests were able to connect with other empowering women as they explored a variety of health and wellness services from almost 20 different local businesses. Sarah Christianson, Mrs. Nebraska 2017, was the guest speaker at the event. Sarah told her story of being diagnosed with several heart arrhythmias at age 17. Heart surgeries, a pacemaker, and up to five medications at a time kept her down but not beaten. From her faith in God and support from her husband and family, she found the strength to be #Unstoppable.
Float 4 Life is a part of the Joshua Collingsworth Memorial Foundation. Float 4 Life’s swim center and training facility was recently opened near 14th and Yankee Hill Rd. They are excited to be able to host various inspirational and educational events at their new facility, along with infant and toddler water training. The center serves as the national training facility for instructors who want to learn water safety and floating techniques. Float 4 Life Instructors are trained to teach children as young as six months old how to recover to a back float if they were in a water emergency. Visit www.float4life.org to learn more or to register your child for float lessons. Connect with Float 4 Life on Facebook (@Float4Life) to keep up with all upcoming events.
