As the year comes to a close, the hearts of the staff at Fresh Start (freshstarthome.org)are full of gratitude and pride. They have witnessed remarkable courage, strength and transformation from the women they serve.
One resident shared, “This year, I learned to believe in myself again.” Another celebrated reconnecting with family and securing stable employment. These stories remind us that progress is built one step at a time — and each step is powerful.
The team feels honored to walk alongside these women on their journeys. “Watching women discover their confidence and step into new opportunities is why we do this work,” one staff member shared. “None of this would be possible without the supportive community. Your encouragement and generosity help create meaningful change every day.”
As the holiday season begins, Fresh Start looks forward to bringing warmth, celebration, and hope into the home. To make the month extra special, the organization is seeking support to provide holiday food platters for the women they serve, including sandwich trays and dessert assortments.
