Their residents and staff are diving into their learning adventures with incredible enthusiasm. Navigating adulthood can be challenging, but the pursuit of education and personal growth is powerful. At Fresh Start, empowerment extends beyond their walls as residents are channeling their strengths to excel in their studies and achieve their dreams. They’re returning to school with a clear vision: to better their lives, follow their passions and build a more stable future.
Cassie Shambaugh-Miller, a Fresh Start Case Manager, is thrilled to share her exciting news: “Ever since I completed my undergraduate degree, I’ve been eager to pursue my master’s. The timing finally feels perfect, and I’m so grateful to be part of an organization like Fresh Start that supports my educational and career aspirations. My parents instilled the power of education in my life from a young age. I believe education plays an instrumental role in our lives and the encouragement from my amazing coworkers has been a huge boost, I’m incredibly thankful for their support as I embark on this new academic adventure!”
