As the holiday season draws near, Fresh Start (freshstarthome.org) is filled with gratitude for the amazing generosity that has touched the lives of the women at Fresh Start Home. Through their Adopt a Resident program, many kind-hearted individuals have helped bring light and joy to those who need it most.
For the women they serve, the holidays can be a challenging time. Many are separated from family and may not have the resources to celebrate. Your thoughtful gifts can truly lift their spirits and remind them they are not alone.
This year, each resident will create a wish list with five items they would love to receive, each priced at no more than $25. Their wishes include everything from gift cards to Walmart and Bath & Body Works to cozy slippers and soft blankets. They’ll then match you with a resident, so you can help make her Christmas brighter! The wish list items are due by Thursday December 12.
