Friendship Home Offers Domestic Violence Crisis Line and Support During Pandemic
Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) recently reminded the public of the free services they offer through their 24/7 crisis line, particularly for those experiencing domestic violence. In this time of social distancing, when most of us are finding comfort and safety at home, there are those that don’t find their homes to be safe. Unfortunately, domestic violence doesn’t stop for COVID-19 and may even escalate due to stressful circumstances in the world right now. Friendship Home’s crisis line is available 24/7, and their shelter doors are remaining open as they recognize their services are needed now more than ever.
During this challenging time, Friendship Home wants to assure those in Lincoln and Lancaster County that they are continuing to provide crisis services, emergency shelter, and transitional housing to victims of domestic violence as well as their children.
The Friendship Home exists to support, shelter, and advocate for victims of domestic violence and their children. They provide crisis intervention services, case management, and emotional support to victims. If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, Friendship Home’s crisis line is available 24 hours a day by calling (402) 437-9302. Learn more online at friendshiphome.org.
