Friendship Home’s 2019 Stuff the Bus Raises $66K Worth of Items
Friendship Home (friendshiphome.org) is proud to announce that the 20th Annual Stuff the Bus event, which took place April 6–7, was a huge success! This event, hosted by StarTran, in partnership with Alpha Media, and Walmart, Sam’s Club, stocks the shelves and benefits victims of domestic violence and their children staying at Friendship Home. This year, four StarTran busses were stuffed to the top with highly needed items, such as laundry detergent, paper towels, body soap, and canned goods. The value of the donated items was just over $66,000.
Thank you to StarTran, Alpha Media, Walmart, and Sam’s Club, and everyone who volunteered at this event as well as those who donated to Friendship Home. Every donation makes a huge difference.
