Meet Nicholas, a typical 15-year-old boy until February, when he was diagnosed with Stage 4, Glioblastoma Brain Tumor.   Since then, Nick has undergone brain surgery and is currently taking treatments of radiation and chemo at Children’s Hospital in Omaha.

Nicholas loves football, friends, video games, and Jim Carey, but mostly Nick loves cars. So, when Make-A-Wish® Nebraska “wish granters,” came knocking on Nick’s door asking what his one true wish might be, Nicholas did not hesitate.  “I want a really cool car,” he said.   Make-A-Wish grants the wishes of children with life-threatening medical conditions to enrich the human experience with hope, strength and joy.

Nicholas’s parents have purchased a 2011 Dodge Avenger for him, so Nick discussed with his wish granters the possibility of refurbishing that vehicle.   He told them exactly what he wanted to do; a white paint job with black accents, a body kit, 18 inch rims, new tires, LED lights and a great sound system.

To fulfill Nick’s request Make-A-Wish Nebraska contacted Robert Peinado, owner of GP Customs in Lincoln.  Robert was honored to be asked to help with restyling Nick’s vehicle and is donating many of the services.
