Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln (lincolnhabitat.org) will be launching its new online shopping experience, ReStore & More, on October 15 at LincolnHabitatReStore.org. An extension of the Habitat ReStore, ReStore & More will offer shoppers around the world chances to purchase and bid on a wide variety of collectibles and other items not found at the physical ReStore location.

Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln opened the Habitat ReStore in 2014 as a way to help raise funds for their mission of building and repairing homes for people in need of safe, affordable housing. Offering discounted building materials and home goods, the thrift store recently moved to a brand new location at 5601 S. 59th St.

ReStore & More is a new, online extension of the store offering additional items through Ebay and Shopify platforms. Popular items include collectibles, dishware, art, musical instruments and small electronics. Donations are needed. Items can be dropped off at the Donation Center on the south side of the building.

“We’re excited to be able to extend the ReStore shopping experience online,” said Matt Ross, ReStore & More Manager. “It’s like a big old treasure hunt, but you can do it on your couch.”

Established in 1988, Habitat for Humanity of Lincoln has built or repaired more than 200 local homes. Through community partnerships, Habitat builds strength, stability and self-reliance alongside families in need of decent and affordable housing. For more information, visit lincolnhabitat.org.
