HopeSpoke Expands Services, Now Available in Twenty-One Schools

HopeSpoke (www.hopespoke.org) is expanding their Choices and prevention programming to East, North Star, and Southeast High Schools this school year, which brings their total reach to 21 schools in the Lincoln Public Schools system. Choices and Pilots of Change provide support and resources for students identified as at risk for substance using behavior including group and individual therapy. HopeSpoke staff understands the importance of early intervention and treatment of emotional, physical, and/or environmental trauma. The idea is not only to help people engage in healthier behaviors but to help them heal from the pain, restoring hope for a better tomorrow.

HopeSpoke will continue services at the following Elementary Schools: Clinton, Elliott, Everett, Hartley, Lakeview, Meadow Lane, McPhee, Pershing, Prescott, and Roper; Middle Schools: Dawes, Goodrich, Mickle, Park, Pound, and Schoo; and High Schools: East, Lincoln High, Northeast, North Star, and Southeast. These services are supported through Region V, Juvenile Justice Prevention Fund, Medicaid, and Lincoln Public Schools.
