HopeSpoke Needs Audience Participation at Ignite Lincoln on August 19
HopeSpoke (www.hopespoke.org) is proud to have been selected as one of this year’s Ignite Lincoln nonprofits, and audience participation can help HopeSpoke win donations to provide mental health care in our community! Ignite Lincoln is an evening of fun and fast presentations by 11 members of the community on a variety of topics. Ignite Lincoln 13 will take place Thursday, August 19, at 7 p.m. at the Rococo Theatre, located at 140 N 13th St. in Lincoln. For event tickets, or to donate to the nonprofit you want to win, visit www.ignitelincoln.org.
HopeSpoke is one of five Lincoln nonprofits selected to receive 100% of the proceeds from sponsorships and ticket sales. Each participating nonprofit will have 140 seconds to present onstage to the live audience, who will vote for the nonprofit they believe deserves the largest donation. On behalf of HopeSpoke, Executive Director Katie McLeese Stephenson will share how audience and sponsor support can help children and families in Lincoln seeking mental health counseling. Additionally, HopeSpoke Board President Kelley Peterson is one of this year’s presenting speakers, along with Chubs the pug.
HopeSpoke provides behavioral and mental health care for children, youth, families, and adults across their lifespan. For more information about HopeSpoke’s services, visit www.hopespoke.org or call (402) 475-7666.
