Join the Nebraska Community Foundation for a Virtual Dreams Welcome Week

On November 9-12, Nebraska Community Foundation (NCF, NebraskaHometown.org) will host its biggest event of the year—Dreams Welcome Week—on virtual platforms. Usually, this event involves gathering hundreds of community builders from across the state under one roof to share ideas, learn from one another, and work together to achieve their dreams, but the circumstances of 2020 have forced NCF to consider new ways of convening, teaching, and learning together.

This year’s celebration will take place on virtual platforms throughout the week to maximize participation among its expansive network of ambitious Nebraskans. In 2020, anyone interested and invested in the future of our Greater Nebraska communities is invited to partake in training sessions, as well as a free and public livestream celebration on Thursday, November 12. The livestream will feature speakers from communities of all sizes talking about the achievements of their Nebraska hometowns. Interactive training sessions will focus on topics important to the future of Nebraska, including youth engagement, people attraction, leadership development, philanthropy, and fostering welcoming and belonging.
