Lincoln Children’s Museum Site of Upcoming Active Parenting Classes
The Child Guidance Center (www.child-guidance.org) is excited to host Active Parenting Classes at the Lincoln Children’s Museum in an effort to also provide an exciting experience for children themselves. The classes for parents of children ages 5 – 12 will be held on Fridays from July 6 to August 8, meeting from 2:30 – 4:30 p.m. each week. The classes for parents of children ages 0 – 5 will be held on Mondays from August 20 to September 18 and will meet from 2 – 4 p.m. There will be no class on September 3 due to Labor Day.
Child Guidance Center is so excited about this opportunity for parents and guardians to be able to receive the Active Parenting Classes and have childcare and fun activities provided by the Lincoln Children’s Museum staff. The cost to attend the Parenting Classes is $40 per session with reduced rates available for all who need a lesser rate. Please contact Alicia Waltman, LIMHP, for questions or to register at awaltman@child-guidance.org or (402) 475-7666. This program is provided through a grant from the Community Health Endowment of Lincoln and local donors. To learn more about the Child Guidance Center, visit www.child-guidance.org.
