Loaves and Fishes (lulusonn.com) is gearing up for their holiday events. They will once again be offering a free Thanksgiving and Christmas meal, groceries and blankets for those who need it. They are also partnering with the Staenberg Family Foundation to offer holiday meals and a backpack full of food and essentials to Veterans who are in need, identified by the local Veteran’s Service Center.
As you can imagine, this is an expensive undertaking and Loaves and Fishes is seeking community partners who are willing to help them serve those in our community who need it the most. A cash donation of $30 will provide four complete Holiday meals. They are hoping to provide 125 meals for Thanksgiving and 125 for Christmas, along with groceries and basic hygiene items.
