Over 250 people came together on September 21 at the Country Club of Lincoln to support LUX Center for the Arts’ annual benefit auction and dinner. The annual event is a wonderful opportunity to enjoy great food and the companionship of people who love the arts and, at the same time, support the programs and activities of LUX Center for the Arts.

Auctioneers, Tom Henning and Marc LeBaron, worked the room to acquire the highest bid for the 15 pieces offered during the live auction. Over 160 artists contributed works to the event, which raised $77,000. Donating artists included Stephen Dinsmore, Eddie Dominguez, Charley Friedman, Robert Hillestad, Jun Kaneko, Gail Kendall, Kim Reid Kuhn, Sydney Lynch, Lauren Mabry, Susan Puelz, Nancy Friedemann-Sánchez, Therman Statom, Sue Tirrell, Jette Vogt and Ying Zhu. In addition to the artwork auctioned, attendees donated over $9,400 to support the LUX education and outreach programs.
