LUX Center for the Arts is set to present “Mug Shots: 7th Annual Juried Cup Show,” featuring the selections of juror Brian Harper, Associate Professor of Fine Art and Ceramics Area Coordinator at Indiana University Southeast. Harper personally selected the pieces from a submission pool that included some of the most intriguing and exceptional cups produced by contemporary ceramic artists for LUX Center for the Arts’ seventh annual nationwide juried cup exhibition.

Many functional and non-functional interpretations of the cup, produced in clay, were submitted for a chance to be included in the exhibition. The show opens Friday, April 4 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., and Best in Show as well as two Honorable Mentions will be awarded during the event. The show will be on view from April 3 to May 30, 2015.

LUX Center for the Arts is free and open to the public. Free parking is available on the west side of the building just off of 48th and Baldwin.  LUX Center for the Arts is located in historic University Place at 2601 N. 48th Street.
