Matt Talbot Gears Up for Huskers Helping the Homeless Fundraising Event

Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach (mtko.org/huskers) is hosting the the 22nd Annual “Huskers Helping the Homeless” event the weekend of September 27 – 30. Local businesses and individuals can show their support by volunteering, serving as sponsors, and donating during the event.

“The money raised during this event supports our hunger relief and homeless prevention services 365 days a year, bringing us closer to our vision of defeating hunger and homelessness in Lincoln,” said Susanne Blue, executive director. “We’ve experienced tremendous growth during the past several years in programs, clients served and even in our facility. Our sponsors, more than 600 volunteers of all ages, and the generous community members who donate bring such a positive community spirit to this event. We are looking forward to a fun weekend!”
