American Life and Security Corp. invites golf enthusiasts, philanthropists, and community members to participate in the 1st Annual American Life Charity Golf Tournament—a day of sport and solidarity aimed at raising vital funds for Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach.

The 4-person scramble will be held on Monday, August 4, 2025, at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course, beginning with a 10:00 a.m. shotgun start. Registration includes 18 holes of golf, lunch, a gift bag, and chances to win exciting prizes.

All proceeds from the event will directly support Matt Talbot’s programs, including nutritious meals served twice a day, shower and laundry services for people experiencing homelessness, addiction recovery services, and transitional housing.

American Life believes success means little if it doesn’t contribute to the well-being of the local community and is honored to sponsor this tournament in support of Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach—a vital organization doing transformative work for those facing hunger, homelessness, and addiction. This event is more than a day on the golf course; it’s an opportunity to rally around hope, dignity, and real change for those in need.

“The mission of Matt Talbot is to relieve hunger, overcome homelessness, address addiction, and provide outreach and advocacy in Lincoln,” said Alynn Sampson, Executive Director of Matt Talbot Kitchen & Outreach. “This tournament is a terrific way for the community to come together to not only enjoy a great day of golf, but also to help fulfill that mission and make a tangible difference in the lives of those who need it most.”
