Nebraska Community Blood Bank (ncbb.org) celebrated a long time donor— Sherman! At 90 years of age, Sherman made his 901st donation! That’s 113 gallons and 2,703 lives saved! Sherman has been a part of the NCBB family since 1968 when they first opened. He’s been donating platelets every two weeks since 2000, and his dedication is inspiring. Sherman hesitated to take a trip to the Dominican Republic to visit his song because it would mean a temporary deferral!
Help NCBB honor Sherman by scheduling your next donation at their 84th Street location and mentioning “Sherman” when you come in! Help NBCC see how many appointments they can fill in his honor while he enjoys time with his son! Schedule a donation at bit.ly/4iHhZrA.
