Nebraska Diaper Bank (nebraskadiaperbank.org) is calling on Lincoln-area businesses to support its mission by sponsoring Music to Their Rears, the organization’s annual fundraiser happening on Thursday, September 18 at The Barn at Ackerhurst Dairy Farm in Bennington.
The event runs from 7 to 9:30 p.m. (doors open at 6:45 p.m.) and promises a vibrant evening of cultural music, craft cocktails, and bite-sized desserts in a rustic, elegant setting. Guests will enjoy a hosted wine and cocktail bar, coffee bar, and dessert bar. Cocktail attire is encouraged.
“Sponsoring Music to Their Rears is a meaningful way for Lincoln businesses to align with community impact,” said Anna Lehotyak, Development Director at Nebraska Diaper Bank. “Your support helps provide essential resources to keep babies clean, healthy, and dry.”
Nebraska Diaper Bank distributes 300,000 diapers each month to more than 5,000 children, including approximately 650 in the Lincoln area. The diaper bank model also connects families with additional services such as healthcare, basic needs, and case management. With no public assistance programs covering diapers, business sponsorships play a crucial role in closing the gap.
